One Week in Sydney with a Toddler

Hello from Down Under!  Cooper and I have spent the last week running around like crazies soaking up all the goodness of Sydney.  I did a ton of research on some of the best places to bring him and we hit the ground running.  Now, this isn’t your traditional tour of the city, but if you happen to have a toddler, it is a pretty fun trip!

Museum of Imagination

Museum of Imagination– I love the way that sounds!  It is full of possibilities and excitement.  And that was exactly what we experienced when Cooper and I headed to the Museum.

The Museum of Imagination is geared towards kids and they are allowed to touch and play with literally everything in the space.  There are two entry times (10am and 2pm) but you can arrive at other times.  These entry times are meant to maximize your time in the museum and are part of a guided tour.

We chose to arrive at our own time but were still treated to an English speaking guide.  She was amazing with Cooper!  We had such a blast exploring the Museum.

A Day at Cape Cod Children’s Museum

Hello hello!  So let’s rewind almost a month ago now (seriously, where does February go!?) to our day at Cape Cod Children’s Museum.  Coops and I have been there before during the summer and I highly recommend it if you are spending any time on Cape Cod.  I was curious to find out how it would stand up to the winter months when less visitors are around.  We were pleased to see that it was just as great as the last time we visited.

The entrance fee is $9 per person, which is pretty inexpensive.  I was so excited to bring Coops because he had a ball the last time we were there.  This time it was like he remembered the place (although I’m not sure that is possible at 2) because he ran right in and straight over to the dinosaur table.  He has been pretty obsessed with dinosaurs lately since we saw them at the zoo and since I downloaded a fun dinosaur puzzle game onto the iPad.

We saw some of our old favorites like the big submarine, which is still really cool with all of its sights and sounds!

A Great B-Day Weekend

Hello and Happy Monday!  I feel like it was just Friday because this weekend went by in a flash!  It started out on Friday with my birthday and it was a super fun day doing all the things I loved.  I was woken up by hugs and kisses from the little guy and made myself a pink tropical breakfast.

Checking out Legoland Discovery Center Boston

Hello!  We are still recovering from our whirlwind time in Massachusetts.  Looking back over the photos, we did so much and had so much fun!  One of the things I was really excited to do was to bring Cooper to Legoland Discovery Center Boston.  They’ve only been open for 3 years so it is relatively new and I was excited to check it out.
