I have partnered with belVita and Dannon to help promote the belVita and Dannon partnership. I have been compensated for my time commitment to the program, which includes writing about the promotion and product. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.
Hi there! I’ve made it my mission on this blog to find more balance in my life, whether its work/life balance, blog/work balance or life/life balance (let’s face it sometimes life gets in the way of living your life!). The one key factor I’ve noticed in all these attempts at balance is that balance means prioritizing some things while letting go of others. Sometimes we have to compromise to get what we want.
One thing I absolutely will not compromise on is healthy eating. I make it a priority every day to feed my body with nutritious and satisfying foods. But let’s face it, who has the time to sit around and chop up strawberries in the morning or prepare an amazing salad with homemade dressing for lunch or prep a well-balanced, perfectly cooked meal every night? Seriously, if you have this time, email me and tell me all about your life because I want in!
In reality, eating right is often done on the fly. There are so many bad choices out there that it can be easy to fall into a trap of making a wrong decision that will sabotage your diet. Sure, an egg sandwich you make at home with cooking spray, reduced fat cheese, turkey bacon and fresh avocado is healthy but the one you pick up from the drive-thru on the way to work—not so much.
